Description of artist and pieces: I am a longtime cottager near Algonquin Park and find my driftwood in the shallows of Bella Lake. With cleaning and sanding the pieces take on a representational or impressionistic form. I finish them with a natural oil to bring out the dramatic grain of the wood and often mount them on locally sourced granite. I am a member of the Artists of the Limberlost who have a studio tour Aug. 15-16 2020 along historic Limberlost road 12 km. north east of Huntsville.
